Where to begin on creating a “Level 10 Life''
Dedicate some time to doing this , after reading The Miracle Morning everyday I have my level 10 life in mind ( If you haven't read this book yet and your picking up this post for the first time, pop over to the bookshelf or visit the website it really is the most life changing book and where my inspiration and motivation came from for this blog and its current format.
I'm taking positive steps both big and small towards my vision of what this looks like. Remember your level 10 life is your creation so there are no right or wrong answers and the timescales are yours to set.
Start by breaking your life into 10 categories :
Set Your Score and Goals
Then using a scale of 1-10 ( 10 being the highest and zero representing no satisfaction) Be honest with yourself after all there's no point in doing this practise if your not.
There needs to be no judgement on how your scores compare to others , all you need to vision is what your level 10 life is like for you!
If your a keen on journaling like me you can click on my Journaling link to find out more and get ideas on how you can include this in your daily weekly and monthly taking action, practise, planning and record keeping. The above spread is how I created a visual, but if this not for you just give yourself a score but make sure however you do it, record it.
You then need to set yourself some goals that moves you from where you are now towards your level 10 life. I decided to allow space for 10 goals for each area. Giving me 100 tangible actions and things to do to take me a step further towards that. I wrote this down as well and will be sharing some of these with you over the next few days up and coming blog posts.
Now that I have the goals I need to take action and plan the steps to make this happen. The above is a blank spread in my journal.
You will see I have included my level 10 life - so each week I will take one goal for each area , record it here and then daily take action to make sure by the week end I have work on it or complete it.
I have also also included other things I want to record for that week such as a box to cross off to confirm I have completed as part of my routine learnt and practised from my miracle mornings (if you have not read these posts then I encourage you to go and take a look). It includes my SAVERS (personal development), little glasses to record my water in take (health/fitness), a box to record something I was grateful (personal development/spirituality) for that day, a record of food, appointments (family/career/business), to do (all areas) and a blank box to be creative. You can develop your own or use something similar if your not sure where to start with creating a journal check, out the other blog posts on this website, visit Pinterst, Instagram or YouTube or click this link to find one of the People who Inspire me.
Having goals and set plans, recording and reviewing them means that they are more than just a wish. This does not mean you can't dream big! It means you need to work towards them. They are motivation, they let us take charge and be in control of lives giving us direction and purpose to making them happen. We bring fun, excitement and ultimately fulfilment to our lives meaning we are living our level 10 life.
