Woke up at 5:30 again to do the SAVERS routine. Today I managed to break the pedal on my exercise bike , so had to make the decision to do something different. So I put on a DVD I had on the shelf and followed the first two aerobic workouts . I must get the bike fixed soon although the DVD was sufficient for day it doesn't excite me.
Today I finished the book I have been reading Big Magic - Living a creative Life beyond Fear ( this is actually the second time I have read this book) it's author is Elizabeth Gilbert.
I enjoy her style of writing. As you read through it's really like sitting down for a chat with a friend hearing her honest accounts of her experiences and the stories and research she has done.
The book ( Of which I highly recommend ) talks about finding your creativity 'your inner jewels' without any of the fear that can sometimes come with doing this. She encourages you to actively seek out the magic that is within you and everything you do, and to never give up on its pursuit.
She has some brilliant quotes and stories that I will not go into here for fear of ruining your experience (you might be intrigued by my journal spread below reminding myself of some of my favourites)
After reading it did inspire me to sit down and start to write a list about creative things I am curious about. What might I like to explore . So I have started. I do intend on adding to this curiosity and creative list as the days and months pass. And I will add them to my vision board. One step closer to a level 10 in the creativity and fun section.
If you want to get the book you can click the picture below or visit the bookshelf. Day 15 of my miracle morning and on book number 2 this time for me is surely paying off!
